1. Data collection
VirtuoLab collects only the data necessary to deliver our services. This includes contact information you provide through our forms, such as name, email address and company name. We never collect data without your knowledge.
2. Use of data
Your data is used solely for the purpose for which it was provided: answering your questions, preparing quotes, delivering projects and maintaining the business relationship. We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Cookies and visitor statistics
Our website does not place analytics or tracking cookies. We only use functional cookies where the site needs them, for example to log in. To see how the site is used, we measure visits ourselves, without cookies and without an external service. For each page view we record the page, the website you came from, the country and city (derived from your IP address using a local database), the type of device, the browser and the operating system. We do not store your IP address. We only use it to create an anonymous code with a key that is replaced every day, so visits cannot be linked to you across multiple days. If Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled in your browser, we measure nothing. We keep these statistics for a maximum of 25 months.
4. AI test
If you take the AI test at virtuolab.dev/ai-test, we store your name, your company name if you enter it, your sector, the chosen level, your answers and your score. We use these to create your certificate and the leaderboard. Your name and company only appear on the leaderboard if you choose so; otherwise you are listed as an anonymous participant. Anyone with the link to your certificate can view it. To keep the test to one attempt per person, we store an encrypted code of your IP address, never the address itself, and set a functional cookie. We keep this data for up to 2 years. If you want us to delete it sooner, email info@virtuolab.dev.
5. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. All data is stored encrypted and transmitted over secure connections (SSL/TLS).
6. Retention period
Personal data is not kept longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Project-related data is retained for a maximum of 2 years after project completion, unless legal obligations require a longer period.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data. You may also object to processing or request data portability. Please contact us through the contact form or by email.
